Northwest Research and Outreach Center

About Plant Pathology at NWROC

The NWROC at Crookston (located 300 miles from the St. Paul Campus) offers unique opportunities for plant pathology research in the agriculturally rich Red River Valley.  The Center has a plant pathology research laboratory, greenhouses, controlled environment chambers, and field facilities.  Special arrangements are made for housing graduate students during the summer.

Research in the Plant Pathology department at NWROC is divided in two major categories:

The Controlled Environment Science Building is a state-of-the art facility and includes glasshouses, controlled environment chambers, soil receiving room, research lab, and an interactive TV classroom.

Walk-in controlled environment chambers are used for research and teaching.

The research room in the Controlled Environment Science Building is available to faculty, technical support staff, and students working on research projects at the NWROC
